    It' s becoming ridiculous!

Some of the decisions made this season are absolutely bizarre and are ruining the game. What makes it worse is that, even with VAR, the officials are still far too often incorrect. What made them give the Southampton player a red card against Leicester last night I just don't know. The defender clearly kicked the ball and only caught Vardy on the follow through. How could he stop himself from colliding with Vardy? By magic! Not only that, it wasn't even an obvious goal scoring opportunity because to most viewers it looked very much like the 'keeper, McCarthy, would have got to the ball first. Football is NOT a non-contact sport, well not officially, It was the same last weekend when the West Ham player caught Chilwell with his follow through after just kicking the ball. The red card was subsequently rescinded.

At the end of this season many of the rules need to be looked at and returned to the original rule. As the saying goes 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it.' The rules of football are a prime example of this. I also feel that the standard of refereeing has been extremely poor this season and not helped By VAR. VAR needs a complete overhaul as well. It makes you wonder what planet some of these decision makers are on.

Hate VAR. Its ruined the game, and made bad refereeing worse because instead of making an instinctive decision they now think well we have VAR....so you're back to a vicious circle. Why wasn't Villas equaliser checked for dangerous kicking? Why is it that most of the season when I cried out for VAR it was never checked for us? then soon after something hardly worth mentioning and up pops VAR.
