    Today's games

Palace vs Man City....all the pundits reckon that Crystal Palace are safe but if they lose this and we win tomorrow, we'll go above them. Any extra teams in and around us in the final couple of games can only be a good thing so hopefully they get twatted today.

Brighton v Leeds...same idea as Palace. Pressure can wreck a team and a Brighton win would drop us back to the last safe spot whereas losing would be a huge blow to them as they'd be in Fulham's sights that little bit more.

Chelsea v Fulham. Tricky one this in terms of what might happen, especially given the West Brom result a couple of weeks ago. Chelsea will be the same as Arsenal-trying to protect at least some of their players for the semi-final second leg. Having said that, finishing in the top 4 is still in their hands so they'll be focused on this game too.

    Everton vs Villa. Don't care.

Villa, Brighton and Fulham win for me for obvious reasons! Toon should be able to stay up without any help with your current form.

I’ve got nothing against Southampton but was disappointed they got a crucial point last night when down to 10 men, purely from our own ineptness and that Bruce could still screw this up from here and need a result at Fulham on the last day of the season. Strange how even a single point seems to be worth more than what it is during the last half dozen games of the season or so even though it makes no sense whatsoever.

Well, early stages, they looked like they could do just that, John.

This obsession from a lot of teams with playing the ball around their own box never mind how many opposition players are pressing them does my head in. Just fuck off and clear it sometimes, man!!!
