Sheffield Wednesday Players Not Paid Wages.

According to journalist Alan Nixon, Sheffield Wednesday players have not been
paid their wages, for March & April.
This piles more pressure on chairman Dejphon Chansiri, with the club facing a
    transfer embargo.
With the summer transfer window due to open on the 9th June, manager
Darren Moore will have his transfer plans obstructed.
Sheffield Wednesday yet to publish their retained players list, but why would
players out of contract, want to resign for the club, when they are not getting
    paid on time.

At the same time Sheffield Wednesday have announced that they have appointed
Liam Dooley, as Chief Operating Officer, which begins with immediate effect.
Dooley to oversee operational structure of the club, incorporating retail,
    ticketing, hospitality & catering.
While assisting other areas of the club where required, he will identify & build
    revenue generation at Hillsborough.
Owls chairman Dejphon Chansiri said, " The club will always evolve on the
business side, & Liam will bring experience , knowledge & dedication to
    this role ".
I think Dooley better get some money generated to pay overdue wages to
    the players.

I have some sympathy with Chavsiri because I wouldn't pay them either.
    Garbage
Some of them must be on ten times the salary of some of our players

I would have thought most would want to resign with only the minority wanting to re-sign.

mmmm.... let me guess, would they have exceeded their financial fair play again and so aren't paying players to get under it and they'll get their wages in the month after their accounts year ends.
