    Nuno Had A Dream.

That he’d get told to f o o k off regardless of how well he did.

Dreams do come true down at the Custard Bowl.

    Even Stan Cullis wasn't immune.
All the old managers who had success were there for years, Busby, Nicholson, Shankly, Clough, Ferguson and Wenger. Today they haven't got time to hang their coats up.
All the above manager's plus Cullis spent their time in their clubs hey day's. None of those clubs have been the same since they went.
I think it was shocking how Arsenal fan's turned on Wenger.

My neighbour is a big Wolves fan and we were chatting a few hours after this news came out.

I said how surprised I was.

He said that I shouldn’t be.....”you know how fickle our lot are” he said there had been a lot of moaning going on from fans this season.

“They think we should be in the Champions League every season now was” his next comment as he shook his head ironically!

He thinks they’ve made a massive error and that not enough allowance has been made for the loss of Jimenez and the sale of Docherty and Jota.

I say it hear for the record......Wolves will long regret this loss of Nuno.

Not only a very good manager but also a very nice man.

Irreplaceable methinks, on a personal level I’m sad to see him depart our region, I think he was a big plus for the area.

This is why we only live to enjoy a few moments in any clubs history. Who would have thought after years at the top that Liverpool would slip? For decades? and who would have thought that Man U after years of silverware would have a barren period and end up playing second fiddle to their rival neighbours? It happens. As clubs go we are a moderately successful club but by no means a big bright light in the world of football. We are founder members. That’s something that can never change and something to have some pride over. Only huge amounts of money make a big difference in 99% of cases but even then it don’t last for any team.

Had we a decent owner - I would pay Nuno what he wants and get him to us. But we don’t have a decent owner and Dowlings a c unt so it will be a bit of - cheapest wage and who the
c unt Dowling’s best mate with!

Def a huge mistake, he really took Wolves to a whole new level, and played some very nice football getting there too. This season they have had injuries to key players (Jimenez!) that explains why they have been weaker. Seemed like a nice and down to earth bloke too.

Oh, for someone like him to become our new Head Coach… Won’t happen of course.

Massive mistake - took them from nowhere and attracted some great (portuguese) talent. Think there is more to this than meets the eye ...... maybe signs of the money drying up ...... also they didn’t look the same team last season without Jota and Jimenez ......

I thought that this was going to go along the lines of ‘Nuno had a dream, a wondrous moment arrived in his life, he was offered the Albion job; the the dream became a nightmare when realisation struck that the Albion owners are even worse that those at the Custard Bowl’!

I don't think Nuno has been the same man this season. He was always passionate, sometimes his passion got him into trouble.
But when we played them at the Molineux he stood with his hands in his pocket, in a game he knew the fan's were desperate to win.
Could be family or personal problems.
