    Blm!

Am I the only one who thinks that the BLM movement has set back race relations years in this country? Apparently, Marcus Rashford has received seventy racially abusive messages after last night's defeat. Before the BLM movement I'm sure that black players did receive these messages but surely not to the extent that they are now, or weren't they telling us. I'm sorry but taking the knee, in my opinion, is not making the slightest difference. The only way that these abhorant actions will be curtailed is by the actions of everybody as indiduals treating others as equals in everyday life. Secondly, the government needs to 'hammer' these social media outlets and yes, actually close them down. That's the only thing that they will understand. Unfortunately, BLM is basically more of a political movement as opposed to an anti racist movement which is not helping the situation.

I don’t know if it’s made life better or worse for ethnic people.

All I can say is that I immediately mute or change channel as soon as any content featuring BLM comes on TV.

Definitely made things worse. The gay and transgender thing has done the same. There is no harm in highlighting all these things but what people don’t want is all this stuff being rammed down their necks and being called or accused of something because either you don’t agree or you can’t be bothered. Mainstream media doesn’t help by over reportingl these issues and internet platforms being allowed to let people stir up hate and conspiracy theories without going unchecked.

BLM has definitely made matters worse, the knee bending nonsense before games just aggravates people. Nobody like being preached to and that is what is happening now, thanks to the likes of the BBC, ITV, Sky etc; they haven’t the guts to call out the BLM organisation for what it is, a racist, anarchistic pressure group.

I can’t help thinking what the pregnant woman who Floyd held a knife to her throat thinks of him having a square named after him.
Being black doesn’t mean you are good. Being white doesn’t mean you are good. Being good means you are good.

I would say taking the knee has moved race relations backwards - one game yes but not every damn game! Man Utd took the knee last night whilst the Villareal players looked on bemused and stood up!

Like the USA - the National Anthem should be played before any sporting event and not this bollox about taking the knee for a druggie thug albeit what that cop did was shameful and he's paying for it.

It will be seriously annoying if players still do the knee bending nonsense when the new season starts.
