    Well Done Blackpool

Well done Blackpool and deserved. Wouldn’t that be a nice opener - Blackpool away so we could all go there on Friday night!

That Dougall for Blackpool who scored the goals looked useful!!

They were the better team on the day although I was hoping for a Lincoln win, an easier away trip for me, and it would have been nice for our two players to have been Wembley winners.

Might be the best result for us in the long run. Had Appleton won he may have looked to our moronic recruiting staff as very good signing as manager with another lower league promotion under his belt.

To be fair, Appleton has done a good job at Lincoln, especially as they weren’t expected to be anywhere near the play-offs. If our recruitment team are looking at Appleton, the loss at Wembley is very unlikely to alter their viewpoint.

Let’s pray our recruitment team ( Dowling ) are not looking at Appleton!

I remember going there a long time ago, late 60’s possibly, on a cold wet, Winters day; we lost, 2-1 or 3-1, I think it was. Still, could be a good day out, especially if there are no Covid restrictions.

That Kenny Dougall, the Aussie player ehh Al.
He was a bit of a flop player for us a few years ago, so maybe hes found his niche in the upper half of Lg One lol.

But yes I agree well done to the Blacky lashers, on getting back to this level. After what their club and fans have gone through because of 'alleged' poor ownership, Im pleased to see them back.
