    Austin has signed for QPR

2 year deal for a bloke whose legs have gone.

I’ll bet he gets between 15-20 next season and out scores our top scorer.

I would put 50 quid on that as you are right!

Rather have Austin than fairy feet Grant!

In all honesty, he did very little for us except those two goals at St. Andrews. Most of his goals were penalties. The trouble is that he is the type of player we always go for; somebody at the back end of their career and not a young player with potential. When are we going to learn?

The problem is that we don’t play to the strength or style of our forwards, Austin will score plenty for QPR because they will set up and play to his strengths. I wouldn’t mind betting that QPR will finish above us next season.

Bang on Ketts - you have hit the nail on the head! Even Harry Kane would not have scored many with dross players like Livermore or Sawyers!

Whenever I saw Austin he reminded me of my Grandads Austin. In a field with no wheels on, rusting away. Uncanny resemblance. Lambert was another one. No mobility, contributing nothing. QPR love him, that's great!

It’s not the question though Boingy in a ruthless world that QPR love him. Mick said he will score 15/20 goals for them - do you want to bet against this?

If he does get this amount which I believe he will then have you considered it’s the lack of service from the absolute shocking midfield of Livermore and Sawyers?

Would bet £30 with you Boingy he will and money from the winner goes to a charity!

PS - Rondon was a different player when at Newcastle than at West Brom. Why?

I don't bet Al, never have, and I don't intend starting now but I will watch with interest. Regarding Rondon I still don't think he did enough but as I have said before only the "top six" have the money to buy the players who will bag you 20 plus goals a season and even then strikers have barren periods. We are stuck with the lesser options, so I look for more than just scoring goals. If that makes sense.

Fair enough Boingy but we need a ruthless player that can score. Before that we need to sort out a disinterested owner and a complete idiot called Dowling as well we are going nowhere!

Let’s not Kidd ourselves - Fat Sam would have stayed if the deal was right and we are still playing games now with the managerial role. In life you get what you put in - sadly that means for us - nothing!!!
