Most of the whole world apart from Italy and Scotland

will be willing us on next Sunday.

It will be fantastic if we can wallop those thieving, theatrical cheats in normal time. They always think they have the divine right to these trophies.

They might point to the Newcastle United takeover and suggest a look in the mirror.

From where I'm located Pat, most fans will be supporting Italy

    Good luck on Sunday!

I think all of continental Europe will be supporting Italy.

@Hughie. You can be proud of your team today. I was impressed with the way they played. TBH I thought the best ream won but Denmark showed real heart and just ran out of steam at the end.

Commiserations, Hughie. I think we deserved to win-just-but you played the better football.

Sadly, Pat, I suspect a lot of the rest of the world will be on Italy's side-as a nation, we are not well-liked.

Thanks man! I am really proud, and I agree with your analysis. The penalty was very soft in my eyes, but the best team definitely won, no doubt about that.

Now I'm looking forward to an entertaining final and the World Cup next year. Again, good luck on Sunday!

Thanks Zip. Agreed, we had some good moments on the ball, but we also looked nervous for most of the second half + extra time.

I wish we could have made it to the final, but hey - that's life.

Also, your side has a very impressive bench, it must feel good to be able to put Grealish and Foden on while Denmark are putting a couple of FC Copenhagen and Brentford players on the pitch

Thanks, Hughie, your lads played really well and made it a close thing. If most Danes are behind Italy then I suppose the consolation would be that had your team won I'd imagine most of us in England would be cheering them on to beat the Ities.
