    Sawyers

Anything from 500,000 upwards bite their hands off and we will include a walking stick to pass on to his new club!

First half of our last Championship season, he was immense. A really, really effective player for recycling possession in the Bilic system. But second half of that season and then his premier league season was absolutely dismal and he completely lost his confidence. I've always seen a way back for him with us in the Championship but he 100% won't suit this new system. It's best we sever ties and move on.

Agreed. Feel for him because this is his club, but intensity isn’t part of his style at all. Beach football is more for Romaine.

Agree Boingy or walking football being the best option!

Something went wrong with Sawyers in the 2nd half of the last Championship season .... never forgot his complete mental breakdown against Bristol City where he got himself sent off .... as for the Prem season he looked lightweight and completely out of his depth .... and Big Sam saw through him .... best if he moves on now .... shame was so promising to start off with and looked great at Brentford

Yes, for the first half of his return season with us he was excellent. However, after the resumption because of Covid, he just wasn't the same player and to be honest, was poor. As has been said, I can't see him fitting in with Ismael's new system so it's probably better that he moves on. It's a pity as he is one of our own products and loves the club.

Lightweight and Sawyers! Now that’s a statement you don’t see very often.
