Let’s start with the Bad, then I can finish on a high note!

I thought that we had plenty of time tonight to park up and grab a beer in the Sportsman before the game but no. Missed the kick off by seven minutes. From the M6/M5 junction to the roundabout at M5 J1, it took well over an hour. We spent less time in the car going from Kettering to Great Barr than we did sitting that jam for one junction of the M5. Added to that was the standard of driving on the motorway, appalling, not just a few cars, but so many driving with no regard for the rules of the road or other road users; as usual, no police to deal with them. Lots of drivers decided that using the hard shoulder is perfectly ok! It really is about time that ******* roundabout at J1 is sorted out. It doesn’t help when a major DPD distribution point is located just off that roundabout, what a stupid place for it given the amount of trucks coming and going. I exited the car at the roundabout and missed the first 7 minutes; my mate who was driving, missed the first 21 minutes.

At this point, two unhappy Baggies.

Now for the Good; we won 4-0 in a very entertaining match, worth the trip! Also, managed to acquire a couple of tickets for the match at Peterborough, many thanks to the ticket office staff. Again, four ******* nil!
