Anyone remember this classic from 74......it very much felt like THE record of that summer?

I’ve found a fairly recent performance from Terry Jacks that appears to be live and the old boy can still bash it out really well.

Until total I’d never realised he was in a very successful band called The Poppy Family with his ex wife, I thought he was a one hit wonder.

I played this on youtube only the other day. I remember it well. I thought the bloke had a fantastic voice and liked his follow ups, 'if you go away' and 'Rock n roll the best years of my life' which was covered by someone else at the same time and was nowhere near as good imo.

His wife Susan Jacks had a great voice Phil and she was a lovely looking girl in her prime.
