Went up to my home town of Harrogate today for a much look forward holiday.
Dropped mum off at my cousins and we then headed to our “Luxury Apartment” for a six night stay costing around £1000.
Firstly it was a nightmare to find due to poor website instructions.
Secondly, we ended up going through the tradesman’s entrance at the rear because the front key safe wouldn’t work.
Upon entry......
The central heating wouldn’t work,
The fire in the lounge had no controls and wouldn’t work.
The TV wouldn’t work!
The place was filthy, an absolute hovel!!
A pubic hair from the last stayer was still in the toilet area😩
The emergency call out man couldn’t get anything working and agreed it was a total **** show and phoned the boss of NightSpace who immediately refunded us.
No room at the inn anywhere and do no choice other than to make the 160 mile trip back home.
I’m absolutely fuming at the lack of care and professionalism by this company and their landlord.....even if it had been clean it had s h I t furniture, fixtures and fittings and a dog s h I t TV.
I’ve owned two rental properties in Cornwall and they were impeccably managed and always a pleasure for us to use ourselves, I know the standard required, people should be ashamed of putting stuff like this on the market.
For some people that might be their only holiday of the year or a special occasion totally ruined.
A w a n k stain of an outfit.....BEWARE OF NIGHTSPACE!!

That's disgraceful Mick. Although you were refunded it spoilt what should have been a good break.
And then there's the weather. Must have been bloody freezing in Harrogate if they needed the central heating and a fire in August. I'm still in shorts and a t-shirt of an evening.
The wife gets chilly every now and again and curls up on the settee under a small blanket but the heating's rarely on in our house until the end of September/mid October.
Can't go spoiling 'er with heat and comfort as the next thing it'll be a foreign holiday 😊 .
