What a wierd week it has been. This tranfer of CR7 has taken over twitter feeds very much to the point where I saw much less of the troubles happening around the world. It's that what football has become?
Is it bigger than countries being at war, bigger than corrupt governments and pandeics. It was a relief from reality for a short while until it calmed down and Manchester City fans realised that Rinaldo wasn't ever going to sign for them and for all of those United fans deleting all of the insults and having to go out and buy replacement shirts for the ones they'd set fire too on social media to proove that they really do take it too seriously.
Was it a Bill Shankley that said football is more important than life or death but was he right? For brief moments he's spot on. For those moments in life it takes over every being of us in some way or another. For example, who got married when The Millers were playing away from home? I did! Who arranges trips to coincide with games if possible or cancels meeting that were made weeks in advance when some match fixture date or time is changed.
Our lives are dominated by football but is it a mask to hide the real things that we don't want to see that go off in our lives? Maybe! Maybe that is why we love it so much.

Today is another derby fixture that on the face of it doesn't seem as important than last weeks game, well it didn't unti it got closer and now it's ***** that we win and win big!
Donny Rovers is the team and we will have to beat them today to keep the pressure off the Warney I reckon. It is winnable mind and we can easily win it with the players that we have. We have had some great additions into the club this summer but we're one short and it could be that one, the striker that is crucual to our season. Until that is solved we go with what we have! And what we have is probably good enough!
