Watching the Stoke City versus Barnsley game last night, which turned into a
feisty match, with both teams battling for the points in the 1-1 draw.
Surridge scored for Stoke City, but a brilliant free kick from Cauley Woodrow,
evened the score.
Then Stoke got a penalty, after Barnsley goalkeeper Brad Collins was deemed
to have brought down Stoke player Surridge, personally I thought it was not
a penalty, the keeper got the ball, & Surridge made a meal of it.

But Brad Collins saved the penalty, & he was the saviour of Barnsley with some
fine saves on the night.
Stoke player Tommy Smith was sent off for a studs up tackle, which was the
correct decision by the referee.
After this when Stoke back room staff tried to pick a ball up for a thrown in, a
Barnsley coach stopped them, in trying to slow the game down, then it kicked
off on the touchline, with two Stokes coaching staff Dean Holden & Rory Delap
sent off, joined also by Barnsley coach Joe Laumann.
A good game, with Barnsley goalkeeper being the reason Stoke City did not
take all three points.
