    10 Games In

Probably a good time to review Big Val's start.

There are plenty more positives than negatives, we've got 22 points from 10 games and I think we've deserved at least that on balance of play in all the games. I like his passion, I like a front foot and high intensity football philosophy.

I know there was some discontent after we drew 3 on the bounce, I think that is to be expected when we are playing this style of football and our pressing drops off - then it looks ugly on the eye, that certainly happened v Millwall. When we win, its great but when we don't against teams you would expect us to beat then I can sense there will be moans and groans from the stands. This will probably happen again a couple of times this season.

I think we stand a good chance of automatic, and we should be certs for the play offs. But I don't necessarily think that's because of how great we are - I think the Championship isn't that good a standard this year. If we do get promoted, we need to improve the side drastically to have a chance of staying up.

If we don’t go up it’ll be due to this Tory government and Brexit!

Don't be silly, nothing is ever our Governments fault.

And if we don't go up - we can always blame the foreigners.

Great to see a manager full of passion. That transmits to the team.
Remember old misery guts Mowbray? He would have made a good funeral director. I felt sorry for the players when they scored a goal and had to look at that face.

After 10 games I reckon against these teams that adapt because it's the Baggies

We have been significantly the better team in 6

Marginally better in 3 (Bournemouth, Peterboro and Preston)

and only v Millwall arguably the better team.

And we should get better at what we do.

    Anyone disagree?

It's a good start and I like the way we try and take the game to the opposition all the time, but most encouraging for me is the last 2 games we have mixed up the way we play which will make it even more difficult for our opponents to work us out, get another striker in January and we will at least make the play offs.

Obviously we won’t be trying to sign Lewandowski due to him being Polish.

I think we look better and more threatening when we try and keep the ball on the deck when we are attacking. That has been a big difference between the last couple of games we have won and the previous ones before where we have drawn.

He might not make it here because of the fuel shortages,

Which is all down to our pesky journalists. And China.
