A couple of the more fancied teams managed to get blown away and, despite absolutely dominating the first half, Man City weren't able to keep a tight enough rein on the mercurial Mo Salah, so the top division fixture ended in a surprisingly entertaining 2-2 draw.

Lufcjohn88 (ExxO), MORRIM (ExxO) and Sniffer999 (ExxO) top scored with nine points out of the available twenty-four based on the aforementioned 2-2 scoreline at Anfield and a win for Newport. Whitestomper45 (OOxO) was arguably the better tipster, scoring his nine points from three of the four games. I guess he could see the woods for the tricky trees?

CalverleyBoy (OxxO), Cherrypie7 (OxxO), Orgoner (OxxO) and resident roboposter Homer (xxOO) scored six points. Leeds are on the same, but they've needed more games.

CherryPie7 stays six ahead of CalverleyBoy, with Whitestomper45 another six behind Calvers.

Billy goes dormant through too much butt munching and not enough PL posting.

There was one draw, so Johnny_Default moves to 27 points for the season and any Strike 1, Strike 2 or Strike 3 posters scored three, two or one point for their total lack of effort.
