Council Tax & Energy Bills Rocketing

They are saying Council Tax will rise on average around 5% for the next three years and energy prices are going through the roof! No wonder all the Poles and other EU Nationalities have gone home!

Can Boris explain how people on the breadline can afford these increases! How would you feel working for the NHS and that fat clown gave you 1% payrise along with other increases like NI and the cost of living.

Surely, the fat clown can raise the minimum wage to an acceptable level so employers have to cough up! Not diffucult even for a 12 year old to understand - the jobs in hospitality and care which are vacant in abundance nobody wants to work for the pathetic minimum wage!

I don't blame people for getting cash in hand for jobs and for sitting on their backsides if the benefits they receive makes going out to work worthless! So the fat clown needs to raise the minimum wage and have more incentives to work!

By the way - there are at least three cafes/pubs in our area paying £15 an hour - it's either do that or close the doors with no staff. They are not stupid especially with raking in the revenue from people not travelling overseas!

    There’s no f u c k I n g wonder cafe staff have to be paid £15 an hour in Harrogate.

We’ve just arrived there and the wife has been to the shops and bought a four pack of baked beans and two packs of fish fingers and got virtually no change from a £10 note!

She forgot the jacket potatoes so she’s gone back with the credit card!

    F e c k me......it’s an expensive place to live!

Keeps out the riff raff. Send the Mrs to the Ivy for afternoon tea - it’s cracking although not cheap!

Bettys bringing in staff from Manchester but hey - long queues to get in all day and every day. Expensive and charge for the name!
