    Khaled El-Ahmad Love in tonight

In reply to saying at Garrison recently he wouldn’t sack someone after 15 games, Khaled says it’s been 16 jokingly.

Released after lunch yesterday “for several reasons”. Says was a nice man, realises frustration but doesn’t like personal attacks. MS handled himself well, said goodbyes.

MS came in this morning and met all players and wished them all luck. K: “It’s never easy but it’s football”.

Why now not after two games then the break. “Every game is important. The data points to the right time. We made up mind so did it straight away.”

Q.Are we going overseas or here?
K says it’s about getting the right man and everyone welcome to apply. Phone been “going nuts” from football legends to ones club been looking at.
There is criteria. No timescales at the moment.

Q.What are goals over next five years?

K: Vision still stable in Champ (7-14th fight for playoffs). No situation where we don’t exist. Financially sound and stay true to style. More revenue and fans.

    Q. Stadium redevelop?

K: Goal of the club is stay at Oakwell. Any rumours not true. Needs big development with stakeholders (assume means Council again). Cashless all over. More ovens signed off today. Developed offices.

    Q. Why are you treating fans with utter contempt?

K: Powerful words. Sorry it says that. Operational, CEO decision who is responsible if something happens. Not fulfilling Equality Act. Reasons are not to treat fans with contempt. No date to open up.
So, so close to Coventry and Luton games without fans (safety certificate). Would have been fine and points deduction. Decision made for best for club.

    Q. Why MS sacked now ?
K: outside factors on top (like injuries) but spoke to players and saw training. Reviewed style of play, data, points the club felt was time.

Q.why directors can sit in some seats fans been moved from
    K. claims of EFL and security demands.

CEO covering points made before about why staff have chosen to leave and ones chosen to come. Accepts we need to grow to make club more of a prospect but have to realise we might be a stepping stone until better finances.

Kids club open Wed and family zone after international break. If fans want to have an outside fan zone bar then will look at that and entertainment, if fans will brave the weather to make cost-efficient.

On £750k taken out of the accounts for 18/19 performance bonuses, and if using clubs own money to help PConway etc purchase the club
    K. to look into it after hearing fans want answers…. Payment for promotion ?

K: see J Cryne almost every day, speak to board often and update as much as can.

K: recruit abroad so get best value for money available but an even squad split of British players and others. Looking for ways to create best pathway for Academy prospects. If quality is there club will give them a chance.

On preference of short term experience and someone comes in for six months to (try) keep us up or longer term project with someone without experience, K prefers latter.

Fans and K disagree about us “competing in this league”.

K: want to bring a head coach and supporting team which recognise didn’t happen with MSchopp

Discussion been going on a while about how the club is not meeting fans’ desires for stability etc and frustration because it feels just board like making a quick buck on players.

Q.Funds in the window? Will owners put hands in the pocket?

K: funds will be available in the window if we make funds in the window. Try to balance finance and competitiveness. Players have aspirations.

K: respect you fans who are knowledgable. Wanted this meeting to be a discussion and it is.

    Thanks for posting ESR.

I see the reason for closing the West Stand has changed yet again. This time he had to close it because the club would not be fulfilling the Equality Act and could be docked points.

Not every part of a stadium has to be accessible to the disabled to meet the requirements of the Act.

A lot of fobbing off going on. A good night's work by Ahmad. Love the "Funds will be available this January window if we make funds in the window" ie we will not buy unless we sell those players who have aspirations to go to other clubs first
