Giving It All Away - Roger Daltrey.

From 1973......what a song and what a singer.

This song always brings my son to mind, I’ve had some very dark times with him and I’ve often played this at the worst of those times as it seemed to describe him and describe me as well, that feeling of being lost.

    Magic song.

Yes indeed mate, what a seminal programme that was with “Whispering” Bob Harris or “Des” as we know him as on here!😏🤣

Footage from that programme will be shown a thousand years from now, the quality of band and the rarity of live footage makes it a marvellous archive.

I don’t suppose they’ll be documenting the X Factor for historical recollection.

Great song Mick, I was about 18 when this was out. Another great song out at the same time was Albert Hammond's Free Electric Band.
The Who are the best group I have seen live.

Great record that Des, always loved it.

I only listen to 70's music 99% of the time these days, I love to be taken back to the era when I was aged 9 to 19, a time when it was all about hopes and dreams and wondering what life would bring.

I've always loved this song by Albert Hammond and good to see the old lad still performing and banging it out well....."It Never Rains In California"..........."Man It Pours".

Ain't that the truth in life!
