    Evolution of the team/squad

I am really happy with how IB seems to be better fitting, or coaching players into a shape that gives the team a more solid, but threatening look as a whole unit.

We've seen it in the past where managers stick with something that doesn't work for whatever reason, either during a game, or for weeks.

I think Matty Palmer dropping into Francis' role has been a key component, added to the energy and drive of Vincent just in front. If Roberts can adapt to the qualities required to play a more central role (if playing 3-5-2) I believe that would be a significant boost to our chances of staying near the top.

Agree. Though I think tonight showed (again) that unfortunately for Mitchell we just aren’t as good a team with an out and out front two. The only way I can see him getting a run in the side is if Wootton gets an injury.

As soon as he came off and Rodrigues was pushed further forward, he was so much better - and so were we. Roberts is also slightly hindered/out of position currently but is improving in that central role, his passing is excellent (assisting the assister in back to back games!) so just needs to work on his positioning and off the ball work. Think the 3-5-2/3-4-3 is definitely the system where we’re most effective though.
