    O/T:- Stockport v Bolton

Think the BBC picked the right game for a neutral 3-3 now extra time.

No chance they will be promoted with the ‘distraction’ of the cup.

Let’s hope it serves as a distraction, though these things can work in a club’s favour too (as Lincoln showed the year they were promoted). I think Stockport, Chesterfield, Boreham Wood and Halifax are all in the second round. Four replays would do us, for a start.

Incidentally, I see Ben Barclay came on for Stockport in extra time last night - didn’t realise he was there.

It can work both ways. They’ve got a big game away at Woking on saturday. The win might push them on, or the extra time played might leave them a little jaded and a case of after the Lord Mayor’s show.

I’m assuming the ‘distraction’ jibe was aimed partly in my direction for my comment after losing to Rochdale. Doesn’t mean I was happy with the loss, I’m never happy when Notts lose. It was probably more my way of softening the acceptance of defeat.

Only caught the last 20 mins and then extra time but was really entertaining and very open end to end game.

Glad we've played (and beaten) them once already.

Bolton were very poor and seem to have flattered them.
