In August after the Coventry game - when it became clear Morris would be out injured for months - and it also became evident that the recruitment at the club had signed a DUD in Obbi - I predicted on here that we would NOT win another game until a target man (Morris or Obbi) was back in the team.
I got that WRONG - after FIFte.en (15 !!!) games later we did beat a very poor Derby.
So although the prediction seemed a little bit left field at the time - I wasn’t actually that far out.
The good news is - Morris is back.
I’m not expecting owt from Fulham - but I am expecting results to start to improve if Morris starts every game.
So Asbaghi has had a bit of luck at the start of his time at the club.
Morris is back.
If we do start to pick up points from now on then the focus is likely to fall on the influence Asbaghi has had at the club - and probably the huge impact that Morris has on how the team plays will be overlooked.
