We do not celebrate this Festive Holiday here ,just the Christian Arabs do. After all God gave the Law unto Moses. What God gave you have to accept. Then when J C comes along, no way brother! No way!
Still its winter the question I ask? There is no way would shepherds watch their sheep or (goats)? by night. The wind sweeps over dunes ,through valleys etc, a flat landscape etc The (goats or sheep ) they are locked in some pen inside a cave opening ?? enclose ? September, October maybe, but now in winter ,no way. Its cold, very cold by day never mind by night (freezing)!
Then why did Josef and Mary journey all the way to Bethlehem, Beit Lecham? ( Beit = house, leham= bread) In winter on a donkey?? Do it in summer and enjoy! I would have let them have my car if I had been around.
Well, drink up and have parties ,mistletoe whiskey what makes the heart jump for joy, and to catch the women.
