    Offside

Watched sportscene, when you see Hearts goal from behind the goal, if you freeze the picture you can clearly make out Walker is offside, should I be shocked that they never picked up on this

What about making a complaint? Will it help other clubs who feel aggrieved? How does the VAR system work? Is the line that gets drawn on the tv screen just a mathematical calculation rather than any specific camera angle

Not sure about the offside, but the throw in that led to the goal should have been Dee's throw in.
I sit in the Derry, and a Hearts cross came over near the touch line, and Mcowan tried to head it clear, but made no contact with the ball.
Hearts took the throw and scored, think the ref must have given the throw, linesman was right beside it.
Even the TVs pundits agreed it was Dundees ball
    Mugged again.

This is typical of what happened throughout last Saturday’s game thanks to that useless referee Collum and his equally useless linesmen. Time and again the linesman on the Main Stand side of the pitch did not give the right decision for a thrown in or waited until Collum made the decision. On several occasions the Hearts player handled the ball with Collum only giving the foul after shouts of protest from the Main Stand. Meanwhile the linesman did not see the fouls which took place before the fog rolled in.
I always thought that a player was offside at a free kick if he was ahead of the last opposition defender not when the ball reached him. The South Enclosure stand linesman put his flag up when the ball reached the Dundee player instead of checking where he was standing when the free kick was taken.
Hopefully VAR will sort out this incompetence but if what happens at Stockley Park is anything to go by I am not hopeful that VAR will solve all the wrong refereeing decisions in Scotland as the referee at Stockley Park viewing today’s matches at Newcastle and Tottenham Hotspur was pretty hopeless.
