URGENT vote required on Prediction League being cancelled while New Years Day.

Due to the mass of fixtures being already cancelled and there's still 3 days to go to Boxing Day, it has been suggested that I withhold the Prediction League while New Years Day.

It matters not about who's where in the League as all these games will still have to be played at a future date so, I will be putting in some mid week fixtures to play catch up.

What I need now is those that post on the PL, to say yes or no to closing down for a few days until we see what fixtures are still available. There are 27 of us who post regular so I will go with the winning votes.

So far the following have said it's better to close:

    CAMiller
    Lolmorgan
    Grist
    CTMilller

and we have one vote to carry on from:

    gm_gm.

I will look at this mid day tomorrow for the final count and then make the decision based on votes cast, cheers.

Do what u want Brin but for me carry on ! It’s better to be involved even if there’s only three matches and whose to say it will be any better on New Year’s Day ??

So far that's 5 /1 against then. As for New Years day pal, if it's just as bad then I may well hold it back again. It will all sort itself out sooner or later.

I”ll abstain and go with the Majority…but I do think we are going to have this problem for a while yet and then you will have the weather playing its part in the winter months too….but with that in mind maybe we need some criteria set for carrying on or binning that particular week in future..

Other alternative is put up all the fixtures (or maybe 20 if available) and let everyone predict on all the fixtures that are on at the time of putting them up and then take the first 10 that are actually played? Forget about the goal bonus.
