Changing your name by deed poll.

Most people aren't satisfied with their names but not many change their surname, christian names are changed more often.
Some people are named after natural features where their ancestors lived, Wood, Dale, Meadows, Brooks.
Others are named after a profession, Smith, Baker, Cooper, Fletcher.
I often wonder what the Ramsbottom's got up to.
I was watching a series some time ago and one of the production team was named Bumgardner.
    I would have changed that.
Worst are the parents who give their kids names open to ridicule or making them sound like characters from children's books.
When I worked at Thompson's there was a bloke there named Jack Rabbit, his son Peter also worked there.
The next place I worked at an engineering firm in Tipton they had an inspector named Freddie Fox.
    You wouldn't would you?

Years ago when I worked at a local hospital we had two consultants, one called Mr Tombs and one Mr Graves as well as an orthodontist named Mr Pulham!

Frank Zappa's kids may have wanted to change their names though. Ahmet was the lucky one but how do Diva, Dweezil and Moon Unit feel?
