I had my doubts about his fitness, and when you might consider he is making a comeback from major surgery at an age where midfielders are closing in on retirement, i think those doubts were well founded.

But that was some debut to last to about 60 minutes before showing signs of being tired, then making it another 12 minutes shows the heart and class of the man! I just hope he continues the rehab, makes a telling contribution to our season and is able to give us another 2 years!
