Still find it hard to believe there's people out there who think Sam Johnstone's a better keeper than this lad 😎 .

In fairness I did feel that Johnstone, at one point, was ahead of Ramsdale but the lad has gone up to a different level this season and has been outstanding. He should now be first choice for the England side.

Recruitment is well organised at most clubs ( except West Brom ) and Arsenal spent top dollar on Ramsdale for a reason - he’s that good! There is also a reason why no club wanted Johnstone and still didn’t want Johnstone in the January window!

Johnstone was never ahead of Ramsdale
Sometimes the perception of a player is better than the truth
We all heard he was a great keeper when we signed him truth is he’s a good shot stopper
Has no positional sense can’t command a defence and has poor distribution
For me a keeper needs to be good at all of the above

Good luck to Ramsdale I hope he does brilliantly and gets ahead of Pickford as I dont think he’s that good but he rarely drops a clanger for England

I agree ... Ramsdale has gone up another level this season while Johnstone has been languishing in the Championship and falling out with the manager. Still surprises me that Arsenal came in with £30m for Ramsdale and we got zero offers for Johnstone ...
