Quite a few younger female guitar players to be seen on YouTube etc. these days. For some reason though most seem to be drawn to the heavy rock hundred miles an hour style of playing where it seems more about showing off how many notes a second they can play than anything else. Nice to see a bit more of a melodic choice in this clip. Another player who is worth checking out is Laura Cox who does her own stuff with her band as well as covering a lot of "classic rock" songs. (With some of these young ladies who post clips of their playing it is entirely possible that us gentlemen might be drawn to their, well, other assets in which case I suggest you follow the advice of the great Sam Cooke and close your eyes so as to listen better and not be distracted by looks&#128521

I have listened to this girl on quite a few clips .... I think she plays with real style .... I guess the question is whether she can “create” as well as “mimic” great solos in the future ...
