Ive just leaned that Southend are planning a new 22,ooo seat stadium, they are going to sell Roots Hall to fund it. Winning is now the norm, with gates up to 8,000.
Its all down to Stan Collymore, the serial moaner and complainer. HAAAAAA.
Its seems the football world is moving on and United are not. United cant sell the Abbey, they dont own it, and Barry is a pauper in the world of football.
Its only a matter of time before United are left behind permanently.
Just look at the Newmarket Road end.

It does look like it. David cant keep beating Goliath. I had a look at Kings Lynns league today, i dont know its name anymore, it looks more like a football league division the div 2.
When United go down, and it will happen sooner or later, that will be it permanently.
Barry stands in the way of someone with real money forwarding this club, but he dont care.
Nor do the fans.
A perfect match. As a tager, i went to Tottenham with a few mates, and i might get a spurs season ticket next year, or Arsenal, or Crystal Palace, amazingly a group of Cambridge lads went there, Palace had those funny shaped programmes, and Palace had an air about them then.
I remember queing up an hour and a half before kick off at White Hart Lane. Alan Gilzean, Martin Peters..... magic days.
I've just looked at the Northern Premier League (Midlands) and Wisbech are dangerously close to the drop Frank, which league will they drop into should that happen and will you be pleased that your second team has fulfilled your wishes?
What about City, will you start supporting them if Wisbech don't escape the drop, you will be pleased to know that Carlton are just outside of the playoff's 👍
Wisbech have had it, watching them is soul destroying, the game kicks off and you know its hopeless. The last time they won a game was 1976. Or it seems that way. This isnt sport, its murder.
When they go down they will go in the United Counties league, which is north cambs bedford and northamptonshire.
I will be going to a few City games when they move into their new stadium, if the vibe is right, then ill go.
As long as theres no socialist black lives matter wokery bonnallacks. I wont be going to Wisbech when they get relegated, i have standards, the vibe is right there though. As is Kings Lynn, i like it there. Soham and Histon are non starters, no vibe there.
I will be a fan without a home next year, i will go to Spurs a couple of times for old times sake, its thirty minutes to Northumberland park. I wonder where those lads are who i knocked around with today. I did make enquiries some years ago, one ended up in a psychiatric hospital in Russia to dry out, Another got married very young, had two kids, but is gay.
Another still had hair down to his shoulders, is basically a bum, who spends his time in pubs, is unemployable, and had threatened someone with a gun. We once had an argument while playing cricket, he threw a proper cricket ball at me, full force from ten yards away. It missed just, he meant to hit.
Everyone it seems has a mountain to climb in regards to themselves, which includes me, but not in those ways.
At the end of life it seems we come back to where we started, if we can. Im lucky in that case. It probably explains Barrys purchase of United, he lives in Seattle.
Do you go to Carlton?, i had a look on youtube to see a Carlton game to get a butchers at the ground. It looks like a public park, there must be a stand on the camera side. There are a lot of good sides at the top, they are doing well. Im rooting for Halesowen, i used to go there when in Brum. You never talk about County, have you given up?
If you Google Carlton Town FC,press search and then Images just underneath you will get some photos come up,there's not much there tbh and most supporters stand behind the barrier that surrounds the pitch, there is a stand there with seating but it doesn't hold that many
I go to about 4/5 games a season but it's mainly due to somebody I know who regularly goes down and I cadge a lift if the mood takes me,it's about a mile from where I sit by the Trent with Coco,I've given watching Notts now,it's something that I always said that I would do once I had reached 60 and have kept to it,I don't mind going to the odd non league game though if it's nice and if they get to Wembley in the FA TROPHY I would consider the journey,if they made the playoff final I would definitely go down to that
