    What a pathetic comment.

Maybe if you’d paid him £3m a year and put him on a 4 year contract then he’d still be with you!

    Oh wait......your Barnsley, you can’t so tough t I t t y.

We’ve lost plenty of managers in my time following Albion.

    Get over yourself FFS.

I do have some sympathy for Barnsley; they had a manager that was doing well for them only to lose him to the wretched chinaman who had vetoed the Albion move for Chris Wilder. Wilder was the correct choice for Albion so what the horrible little Lai did was to ruin things for two clubs. Bl00dy Chinese tw@t. FOL

Barnsley will probably feel some satisfaction when in a season or two, they will not only likely to be above us but possibly in a higher division, too. FOL

Hammer firmly hitting you on the thumb more like.

If you were such a magnificent gem why did he leave?

You’re like most other clubs, a very minor rung on the ladder, a stepping stone even to a backwater like us!

He’s available......show some ambition and attract him back by offering more than he’s getting on gardening leave from us!

    But you won’t!

You’ll “ruin” some other smaller club by taking their manager.

    Oops!

Your missing a huge point , I didn't condemn Albion for attracting Val and neither did I blame him for going to a bigger club , I've so much respect for the man I wanted him to be a success at Albion , I'm on the record on this board to that affect .

My problem is you gave him 6 months and fecked him off and in doing so you've fecked us up along with yourselves and for what exactly ?

To hire a dinosaur as a replacement who has never played the football you seem to believe you have a right to enjoy and probably won't get the results even Val got .

If you can't see my point then there's nothing else I can say .

The issue was giving an unproven fella who used the Covid restrictions to his advantage over a proven manager in Wilder
Fair play to Val, but all it does is prove we have no fecking footballing people at our club
Allow him to buy a young lad for kids of money and sack him weeks after

We are a shambles right now

At least under Peace he always had a plan and always kept a strong spine in the team
We are ****ing clueless right now

That’s totally illogical. Us taking on Val will have impacted your lot but us sacking him after a dismal tenure has absolutely nothing to do with the demise of Barnsley.

If you’d have watched our club over the last 6 months, you would realise that Val is a major part of the current confidence issue which a new manager is having to try to fix - albeit not too well so far.
