O/T ( For Prando!😏) - One Song You’d Buy A Concert Ticket Just To Hear?

By this I mean you’d pay the £100 to £500 ticket price just to hear the artist play that one track?

It could be that you’re not interested in any of their other music, you’d just love to hear that one track and you’d be happy.

    From artists alive or dead?

    For me,

Man Of The World - Fleetwood Mac original line up.

More Than A Feeling - Boston.

    New York - Alicia Keys.

    Going Underground- The Jam.

    Dreaming - Blondie.

    Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd.

    Down Town - Petula Clark.

Don’t Look Back In Anger - Oasis.

    Wishing Well - Free.

The Air That I Breath - The Hollies.

Incidentally The Hollies are on in Brum in May and I might attend for the third time but alas no Allan Clark as lead singer anymore.

Seen Blondie and The Jam but for me, I’d pay just for those individual tracks.

Alicia Keys in particular, I’d love to see her perform in the right acoustic venue in NY, spine tingling stuff.

Glad you mentioned the Hollies mick, probably my favourite group of all time. Harmonies were brilliant. Seen them on many occasions and never disappoint. Even when they had a change in personnel it didn't seem to affect the quality. Mind you, Allan Clarke hasn't been with them for a while now. Brilliant lead singer. There are so many of their numbers that stand the test of time.

Emmylou Harris (with The Hot Band) - ‘Til I Gain Control Again

Little Feat - Rock ‘n Roll Doctor

Gene Vincent - Be Bop a Lula

Chuck Berry - Johnny B Goode

I have had the privilege of seeing all the above perform those songs ‘live’ and would love to again. The only possibility of those being repeated is the Emmylou one but it wouldn’t be with the Hot Band; she always has a great band, though, so I would settle for whoever was on stage with her. I’ve seen Little Feat a couple of times, what a great band, one of the first gigs I ever went to was Gene Vincent at Birmingham Town Hall. I went to see Chuck Berry in Northampton quite a few years back!

Plenty of others I would love to be able to see but obviously never will, Buddy Holly and Linda Ronstadt, to name but two.

Just booked two premium seats for wife’s birthday to see them in York. Fantastic songs!

You and your wife are obviously fans of the Hollies. Have you heard their version of the Supremes 'Stop in the name of love'. If not, really worth a listen on You Tube.

I am a big fan of the Hollies LB but don’t know about the wife as it’s a birthday surprise and she’s ten years younger than me - Duran Duran might have been more appealing to her.

I will enjoy it anyway!! Will listen to the Supremes version! Loved Jennifer Eccles!
