    FAO islay

Are you able to state what dfcss position is regarding moving forward?

And slightly differently how would you like to see Dfcss evolve moving forward?

You and Scott (not sure if Scott's involved) are the only ones who post on here who I think have been involved.

    I kinda know Deerangeds thoughts.

I am interested in both in your position and the societies.

Not involved, no intention or desire to be either, happy to pay my sub’s and attend their AGM. Can think of many good reasons that make it in our best interests collectively to keep this organisation alive. We all paid for the shareholding and who knows what’s ahead. Supporters Trusts near and far are making valuable contributions at their Clubs and I don’t see how we should be any different. Would love to see more people join, it’s only a fiver - the more of us that there are, the stronger the voice, the more representative the group is and the greater the potential. I appreciate a number of people are disillusioned with the make up of the board, their direction, lack of activity and/or communication. I have my own concerns but have to admit I did feel a wee bit better on Saturday after having my say and the only way to influence or effect change is to become part of the group. Some of the same problems mentioned at Dee4Life also exist at the Club and I do feel that by working together they could actually help each other.

I'd consider joining (sure they will love that 😁 ) if they came up with a constructive plan on how to move forward with or without DfC input or dialogue.

It dosent look to me as if DFC are gonna talk whilst a certain director is involved with dfcss and probably still unlikely even if he isnt....so how do they make themselves relevant to the support...whats the plan .....that's the question I'd like answered Scott......don't think it's a difficult question (if there is a plan) and don't need an immediate answer from dfcss but if they are about to push to the front of the queue for my attention and other supporters attention it's the one question I'd like answered.

But I will say again I'm glad people are wakening up to the possibility of major trouble on the horizon for our club and that dfcss are starting to ask questions
