    Dons v Jutes

    Full house for this one.
Three points needed in our bid for a European place.
    Goodwin's first home game.
Ferguson in the stands taking a bow.

    Oot, work.

    1-0 the Dons

Watching it too - “it starts with desire” says Sir Alex.

I suspect Jim Goodwin will look for that too.

Impressed enough with Goodwin's interview, but just a bit worried that he's only looking for hammer throwers.

We're not St. Mirren, we're not even Hearts.

I give you, 100% commitment would be a start.

But for every couple of Doug Rougvies you need a Gordon Strachan.

The Jute cheap-option manager Sean the Weatherman in today's Scotsman:

"In terms of being a football supporter it is great to see a guy of Sir Alex Ferguson's stature being commemorated for his achievements at Aberdeen, probably very similar to Jim Mclean"

For ****'s sake. The very reason those deluded ****ers are held in contempt in these parts.

And we have Funso Ojo's treatment to avenge.

    No ****ing messing.

    Thought he did OK.

Nowhere near enough desire in the current team. Goodwin will have seen that already. What’s needed is real desire … not just the occasional crunching tackle to appease the supporters but the desire to track back when needed, to try to win every tackle, to cover your teammates when they lose possession, to try to win every game you play in, to fight to the bitter end (Fergie time) and ultimately to be winners. Far too many wires missing in our current light switch and that’s why we win virtually nothing.
