    Matt Targett

Playing really well for Newcastle and I have to ask, did we really benefit by buying Digne and off loading Targett? At least if Newcastle want him we should get a decent price for him!

Matty Targett is a liability. He got player of the year last season, due in the main, to having Grealish playing directly in front of him. Opposing teams would double up, sometimes treble up on Jack, affording Targett space, time, and a free ride. This season, he has had his pants pulled down every week.

At Sandcastle, he has ASM directly in front of him, attracting the same attention as Jack. Hence his pressure-free ride again. OK, ASM was out yesterday, but Brentford’s attacking threat down Sandcastle’s left was sent off very early in the piece.

Made of glass, sell, sell, sell.

I'm not so sure, the toonies love him so maybe the owners will pay a silly price for him? But he is still our player and in May/ June he will come back to us! We need back up in every position...

finding his tweets extolling the virtues of sob on the tyne extremely irritating... i've since unfollowed him. Hope he stays there to be honest.
