Given your old age I can see why, but Peaky is set around 1920+ and a lot of reference to Brum and Blackcountry which a lot of posters on here absolutely loved, from what I remember.
My comment of Antique roadshow came about because they had a NUFC fan on there with an old t-shirt getting it valued or told how much it would fetch - absolutely no interest to me. I can understand old treasures and things of very historical value (including art drawings) but football memorabilia of a club I don’t follow, i’ll lose interest.. especially before the anticipated new series of PB.

Leaky Blinders is way past its sell by date in my opinion. The last series was absurd and having watched last night, I think that this series will be too. It has gone far, far beyond the story, even with theatrical licence, of anything that could have been the story of the Peaky Blinders, a Birmingham pub gang.

Agreed they have gone too far from the early series which were better, but it’s still a good riveting watch, I really enjoyed it but I didn’t th8nk too long n hard about it

Agreed, the problem was when they introduced yanks into the series. Trying to make it cool by applying the ‘chicago’ cinematography motion picture (or whatever you call it) looking to glam. Preferred the battle between the local gangs.. the grittiness has gone. So glad it’s the last series as it has gone a little far, but i’ll still watch it.

Agreed, a lot of series end up doing this as they feel they can’t keep doing the same things, but have to say I loved the lower level storylines,

Apparently there is a film due after this series

Enjoyed the first series of Peaky, but has since gone downhill

I haven’t watched it as it just didn’t appeal to me.

Shows stay around too long, I’ve always enjoyed Billions on SKY ATLANTIC but the latest series is utter rubbish.

Always go out on a high like Homeland did.
