    Lazy GPs

Tried to get an appointment 10 days ago ,but there is none for 3 weeks.
I explained to the receptionist , Ive got a bad infection at the back of my knee caused by my knee brace, still waiting for a new brace.
She said I can get you in to see the nurse, went yesterday she took one look and said you need to see the doctor.
There were 3 doctors on, the ist 2 she called said they couldn't come in the room to see me because they wasn't on call.
Both doctors were a couple of doors up, with no patients but wouldn't get of their arse.
The 3rd doctor come to see me and told me if had left it any longer it would have turned septic and has now turned into a ulcer.

The NHS getting worse! You are more likely to die than get an operation within 2 years!

Sorry to hear this Lloyd and I hope you have a swift recovery. On a tangent my lad's been sick as a dog since Thursday.

Ruled out Covid with a negative LFT and rang the GP surgery yesterday morning for some antibiotics. Had an in person appointment and some meds by the afternoon.

In the evening he coughed so hard he burst a blood vessel in his nose which simply would not stop bleeding. Paramedics came out and sorted things straight away.

Further to this I finally got to see a specialist I was referred to in Nov 2019 a couple of weeks ago. Things still aren't great post Covid but hopefully we're starting to get there.

Hi , I went to Sandwell this morning to see a specialist with regards my toes, could lose some more due Rheumatoid arthritis.
The consultant and the nurse were ist class and finally got a diagnosement that I have both Rheumatoid and osteoarthritus.
For years I been told, my joint problems have been all down to work damaging my joints , but now have been told it's a combination.
Which they can sort some drugs out to try and slow the joint damage down.
