    Hernia Op

Anyone had one? Can you walk straight after it? Is it painful? How long before you can go to the gym again?

Booked in this Thursday. Flying to the US less than 4 weeks later so f uck it if not Ok! Also looking at being awake so epidural rather than a general as not putting me to sleep!

    Any advice?

Can’t help you on this one, chap, but I would always go for the general anaesthetic. I’ve had a few heart procedures of the last few years and always with a general! Anyway, good luck with it, hope all goes well.

F u c k me........I thought Soulman was a drain on the NHS but you’re sucking it dry!

    Listen to this very carefully.......

I have had an epidural, I’ve had general anathsetic a few times and I’d snatch your hand off for it any time.

They start counting to ten and you don’t make it past 4 or 5 before you’re gone.

The epidural leaves you not knowing if you’re Arthur or Martha for a good while afterwards, you lose all control of you bowls and bladder.

Are you having the tube up you todger and an enema or wearing a nappy to deal with your back passage evacuation?

I'm cheap to operate on now, they don't put me to sleep and I get to watch.

I have known blokes on the council who have had the ops and they were on the box for about three months and had light duties on return.
Best to ask professional advice on travelling, though I couldn't see it being an issue.

    All the best mate.

Feck that. I have never been in hospital in my life apart from visiting someone and I hope to keep it that way.

I’ve had mates who’ve had hernia ops and they were carrying their balls around in a wheelbarrow for weeks afterward, they swelled up like pumpkins and went black and blue.

Absolute agony according to everyone I know who’s had one.

Hope it stays that way, my twin brother's the same apart from when a villa fan glassed him in a Brum nightclub
