    O/T Covid

After lateral flow test today, my wife has covid 19.
We have been having the lateral flow tests twice a week since April 2021, always
reporting to the NHS a negative result for both of us.
In case the lateral flow test kit was faulty, my wife did 3 separate tests this morning,
all showing positive, which we reported to the NHS website.
I was ill after the MK Dons at the weekend 5th March, from Sunday 6th March, bad
cough, cold & flu symptoms, but after doing lateral flow tests each day, I have
showed a negative result each day, reported to NHS website.

    Contacts & places visited

Only contact my wife has had is -

7th March - Practice nurse for blood pressure test, at GP surgery

8th March - Blood tests - Montague hospital

With me being ill, we haven't ventured anywhere, has people say you can pick up
    a illness in a hospital.

Sorry to hear that. I hope that both you and your wife make speedy recoveries

Re: your negative tests - LFTs are not as sensitive to Omicron as they were to earlier variants, particularly if they are of a type that involves only a nose swab. Try swabbing the back of your throat (if you haven't done so already), making sure that you don't eat or drink for an hour or so beforehand.

Hope your wife and you have a speedy recovery.

I have to go for a Covid test tomorrow morning and I'm preying for a negative result. Otherwise no hospital entry and no operation.

Yes, all the best. You are certainly going through it. Hope your wife is OK. Best wishes.

Good advice - I've heard that too and try and use throat swabs.

I should have had a appointment at he Urology department of Rotherham General Hospital,
this morning, so I had to cancel my appointment, with my wife having covid.
Specialist deciding to do a telephone appointment, he mentioned another biopsy test, I said
no thank you after the last time, I reminded him that if my Prostate Specific AG level was up,
from my last test, he had said he would send me for a MRI scan, he agreed to this.
My prostate specific AG level was 11.99 in my December test, safety level is below 4.00.

I have two prostate specific AG level tests a year, last four tests showing specific levels -
    10.43 x 10.89 x 10.87 x 11.99

My biopsy five years ago showed no cancer, but having a enlarged prostate.
