Matchday is here again and this time Ian Burchnall's stylish-but-ineffective-away-from-home 'Pies travel dahn sahf to east London (or Es5ex!) for a visit to Victoria Road, home of Dagenham and Redbridge FC, for yet another important episode in the recently stuttering promotion chase.

With the apparent coup of signing Harry Arter on loan from our illustrious neighbours mid-week and the return of some of the ill and/or injured players there still appears to be hope that the Maggies can drag a point or three home to Nottingham this evening. Today's squad selection will be 'interesting' with the potential return of Eli Sam to the attack and perhaps an appearance, or at least a cameo, for former £5m man Arter.

As always BBC Radio Nottingham commentary is available on the BBC Sport website (here) and BBC Sport app or on BBC Sounds - plus the EFL app and PiesPlayer. Hopefully Charlie Slater is back to full health and resumes his partnership with Mark Stallard, if not Jake Garner is likely to step in once again for Charlie.

    Team news at 2:00pm.

2nd ground in a week Notts visit where the most impressive stand is behind one of the goals.

I've had this one penciled in on the calendar for a fair few months, was really looking forward to it.

    Unsurprisingly not so much now

Charlie Slater is still missing today so Jake Garner will be partnering Stall on BBC commentary.

Not sure whether Nottingham Hospitals Radio will be covering this one.

Arter and Vincent in midfield sounds lively. Very happy with that!

Back to the 5-3-2 by the look of it.

No Roberts or Rodders - looking a little workmanlike
