    Emil Krafth

I've given him a hard time in the past because I genuinely do not believe he has the level to compete in this league, but I've been impressed with him lately.

Obviously he's getting time on the pitch due to others' injuries, but he's really stepped up his game and Howe seems to have turned him into a decent player.

It very rarely happens, but sometimes I am wrong

    Aye, Hughie, he's definitely improved.

Poor positional awareness, though. Hopefully Howe can help him sort that out.

He’s been the opposite of so many players who were either Pardewed or Bruced, he’s been Eddied or Howed into improving a bit. Still can’t wait for Trippier to get fit though.

He has improved but i'd be surprised if he isn't moved on in the summer

    Same.

As said, he has stepped up, more than I thought he would but ultimately he probably isn't the type of player we want to win trophies.

At least he'll be worth a few bob more next window than he would have been a few months ago.

I was thinking that ex_pat. Howe has definitely increased the value of our squad over the last 4 or 5 months

....and this is what the fatman couldn't see in his 14 years. Howva good manager in place could have made him even more money. We allknew this but him.

    Well, exactly.

I mean, look at Joelinton. If he keeps this form up, he's easily worth the £40 million we paid.

That's what I could never understand about Fatso. For a so-called shrewd, successful businessman he never had the sense to see what an even moderate amount of shrewd investment would do for this club. Both on the management side as well as the playing side.
