Complete Clear Out & Play Youngsters

Clear the lot out! Absolute bunch of useless turds! Bruce can go too as we have actually got worse if that was possible!

Before the game Livermore said " we have to get out of the traps " Well you can't even run you useless w anker!

Nothing to play for so play a whole team of youngsters as it couldn't be much worse!

Surely Bruce needs to do the decent thing now? I gave him my backing but he's failed even though there's zero quality in this miserable squad!

The wretched chinaman won’t fund a complete rebuild, so keep the defence and get rid of Zohore, Diangana, Robinson, Grant, Livermore and Phillips, replace them with youngsters from the academy, they could not possible any worse. Unfortunately, it not only seems that a good number of players have chucked the towel in but many supporters aren’t bothered anymore. I reckon that next season we will struggle to stay in the Championship.

Totally agree with the sentiments BUT….

HOW THE HELL DO WE GET RID AND GET A COMPLETE CLEAR OUT?

As far as I am aware only Johnstone, Button, Carroll and maybe Sawyers are out of contract at the end of the season.

Would you buy any of the remainder? Can’t see clubs queuing up to take them, especially at the wage level we are paying.

If you were one of the players on a lucrative contract would you go to a different club on a lower contract. No, and neither will they.

Frustrated yes, but let’s be realistic. Thank goodness we are not going up I say.

If it was possible I would keep TGH and O Shea and the rest could go and steal a living elsewhere
I wouldn’t call this spineless, gutless bunch of wasters footballers as it’s an insult to the thousands of people who give 100% week in week out playing grassroots football

Totally agree! Whilst, I agree with Yarms sentiments - just play the youngsters as most supporters would love to see some desire, fire in the belly and giving sweat for the badge regardless of the results now. The majority of the wasters can go rot!

Bruce also has showed whilst it's not his fault for the lack of quality, he can't say hand on heart we have gone forwards! Look at Luton - a fraction of the budget and they are giving everything!

El Capitano would not get in Harrogate Town's team!

Wouldn’t disagree with giving the better younger players a go until the end of the season. Only way they will get experience is to play. They can hardly do much worse.

My worry though is what happens to the squad next season. Can’t see our young team being anywhere near enough for the Championship next season, they have hardly set the U23 league alight. I just can’t see a massive reduction in the first team playing numbers or wages so we are in for a rough ride me thinks, between a rock and a hard place.

I know we have had many downs in my 60 years of supporting the club but to be honest not even being sure of being in the top half of the Championship after such a great start, results wise at least, this does feel like the most disappointing season for many a year.

At the start of the season I said I thought we would be promoted. Not because we were good but because, in my opinion, this is the worst Championships for sometime. Couldn’t comprehend us not at least getting in the play-offs. Says something when you look at the squads of so many of the clubs above us.

I know this will seem controversial but I don't think we are all that far from having a squad that can challenge next year. We have a decent enough championship defence. In Dike and Grant we have some goal scoring potential. I think we need two midfielders and another forward. There are a few players in the championship who could make a massive difference. Tom Lawrence is a player I have admired and he will be available. I am hoping Bruce will be able to organise some good loans with all his contacts. I will stick by Bruce until I see what we do in the transfer market and what team we put out next season. If Livermore is anywhere near the team sheet I will despair!

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see that our major problem is the midfield where we lack anyone who can beat a player and play one of our forwards in. Periera did that well for us last season but since his departure all we have are defensive midfielders. Our number priority this Summer must be to recruit a ball playing midfielder.
