    Summer statement signing

Ok so Mbappe and Haaland are probably not going to happen but who would you like to see us sign as a statement of intent?

I was going to say pick one but i couldn't pick between Jarrod Bowen and Raphina. Both great players and with more end product than Maxi. Another Brazil international in the team would be quite nice too

This is assuming we're safe of course which i think we are and will be confirmed in the next couple of games

Well...I'm still not entirely comfortable posting on these threads as I'm all too aware how this sort of thing can come back to bite you on the arse so I'll add a massive if we stay up, then, given my lack of knowledge of overseas football beyond the players the media constantly bang on about, I'd say I'd be happy if we get one of the players everyone else is after.

Bruno was on a number of different teams' radars but he came here and instantly became our best player-and by a long way, too, Trippier excepted. If we manage to get 3 or 4 Brunos for some of the other key positions, then I'd be very happy even if they weren't 'statement' signings (although making 3 or 4 Bruno/Trippier-quality signings would be a statement in itself.

Well, I wanted Coutinho before he went to Villa. That ship has sailed. After watching the abysmal performance from Manure’s (admittedly) world class players this afternoon, a lot of them could soon jump ship if their new manager doesn’t hit the ground running.

We're being linked with the Brighton 'keeper. Tbh, I'm perfectly happy with Dubravka

Bollox to 'IF' we stay up, we are staying up, and it's Eddie out if we don't finish in the top 4 next season!

Raga mentioned Patrik Schick. I like this.

Would be a good start considering the clubs his name is linked with. 33 goals in 60 games or something outdoing Haaland I believe and only behind Lewandowski and is the right age.

    He'd do me.

I've not seen much of Nunez or Schick but i know they are both highly rated. We definitely need a quality striker in the summer that's for sure
