    Johnstone

I would love to know his save %, anyone know where we can get that info from? I'm not sure if its just me, but we seem to concede from almost every shot on target the other team has.

He made a decent save on Saturday in the 1st half at 1-0, and I remember thinking what a rarity it was.

I know stats don't tell the whole story but here are some individual games this season where I've found the match stats for how many shots on target we've faced....

Stoke scored 3 on Saturday - They had 4 shots on target
Middlesboro away 2-1 defeat - 3 shots on target
Luton away 2-0 defeat - 3 shots on target
Derby away 1-0 defeat - 1 shot on target
Bristol City away 2-2 - 2 shots on target
Huddersfield away 1-0 - 2 shots on target
Swansea away 2-1 - 2 shots on target

These are just some selected games I picked out - we conceded 13 goals in them, from 17 shots on target.

I'm just not sure what he brings to us. He is a really bang average keeper in my view, who doesn't really contribute anything exceptional. Would it be that much worse throwing in one of our young keepers?

Am I being harsh? Is there anyone who still wants him here next season?

He brings nothing to the party 123, not even personality which I believe is ***** in a keeper.

I’d love to see a quality veteran like Joe Hart or even Foster brought in to be alongside our two younger keepers.

Not being harsh but correct! Decent shot stopper but shocking command of his area and kick outs. England no 1 - you are having a laugh!

Bruce needs to have some balls and now play a keeper who will be here next season!

    Goodbye Johnstone and good riddance!!

I have been quite a fan of Johnno, but undoubtedly I now consider he needs replacing. Sadly he seems to be demonstrating the endemic poor attitude evident in a number of players.
I have to say that Bartley’s constant short back passes to him has added to his depletion of form

Is this waste of space still here? I hope to God he’s not playing against Blackpool when he’s going otherwise Bruce can do one and quickly follow him out the door! No wonder there’s no team spirit in this squad!!!

While Johnstone had a very good season last year and changed many fans' views about him, he has been 'bang average' this season. I don't think that it's a major concern that he is leaving as we have two young 'keepers with potential, in Palmer and Griffiths. Personally, I would give Palmer the job for the remaining games as he is the future. Button has done nothing wrong but, as I say, is not one for the future and the other two are.
