The U.K. Government have banned Russians and Belarusian players from entering the country and to take part in sporting events. These are clearly the rules and whilst sportsmen and women suffer it’s shocking how soldiers from these countries are slaughtering civilians by execution and gang raping them.
So to challenge our Governments rules and make comment when he’s not a citizen - he should just shut the f uck up!!
Good on Australia for taking a stance and good on our government and the EU in general for this ban. Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina has said Russian and Belarusian players who speak out against Russia's invasion of Ukraine should be allowed to compete at Wimbledon.
On Wednesday, the All England Lawn Tennis Club banned players from the two countries from competing at this year's tournament for their role in the war.
Governing bodies the ATP and WTA described the decision as "unfair".
"We don't want them banned completely," Svitolina told BBC Radio 5 Live Breakfast.
"If players don't speak out against the Russian government, then it is the right thing to ban them."

It’s all very well wealthy Russian sports stars, and their buddies, saying ‘it’s not fair’, they are living a highly privileged lifestyle, many is luxurious tax havens, while many people, the old, women and children are being butchered in Ukraine, is that fair? Any success by a Russian tennis player, or any other Russian sports star, will be reported in Russia as success for the ‘great Russian people’. If these pampered Russians don’t like it, maybe they should go home and lead some resistance to the murderers regime, or at least renounce their citizenship and apply to another country to become citizens there. In my opinion, there should be no participation in international sport by any Russian, even if they compete under neutral flag. Putin wages total war, the ban on Russians must be total, too. No exceptions.
