    Premiership 3

Or division one as it's now called , Division One used to be the Top League only 25/30 yrs ago ? Now it's ridiculed as a Pub League , yet there will be a fair few ex Premiership teams playing in Division One next Season (depending on promotions ) it's going to be very hard to achieve promotion next season, unless we have a magic formula of course !!!!!

It was difficult enough under Stendel Roma especially before Xmas when we were 14 points behind second placed Portsmouth and with a good squad at that .

I just don't see how we are going to put a team together in one transfer window with the lack of finance we have that will be anywhere near the squad Stendel had .

As you say the league's even tougher than it was three years ago .

Top half is about realistic but I've a feeling we could easily drop straight through to league two if we carry on as we are doing .

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see that happen Animal , a former Premiership side has fallen into Non League today , it could be us in 2 years time ?

If the owners don't care which seems to be the case at Oldham and to be fair here then anything is possible .

    Somethings happened.
I don’t know what it is but something has happened.
It maybe related to the ground dispute - but something has changed.
Inside a year we have gone from a owner flashing the name of Barnsley in Times Square and jumping on a plane to be over here for the playoffs - so Chien Lee definitely did care - to a situation where the supporters are wondering whether the club has any intentions of trying to get back into the Championship after being relegated.

I’ll have to watch what happens in the transfer market - but at this moment in time I believe the directors next season will be happy to finish mid table - as long as there is a good batch of young players developing at the club.

It’s going to be mightily interesting watching the comings and goings in the next few months.
It will then become obvious to MOST supporters what direction the club is going in.
Time will tell if it’s worth buying a ticket to watch it.

From what I can tell league one is extremely competitive from the half way point with some big clubs and solid performers .

The other half is pretty poor and there's a real gulf in ability between the the two .

It looks like that as well in the top third of the Conference table. All or most of the better former league teams are up there, going for the Play off places.
I thought Notts County for example, would walk it and come straight back up. But coming straight back up in any division, is much easier said than done.

We've been asking all season whether this lot will even care if we're relegated. And maybe we're going to find out in the coming months, just how much or how little, they actually care about this club!.
Im not holding my breath though, as they're going to be busy organising the car boot sale of players.
Everybody is for sale, at reduced prices, come and grab a bargain or two!!. 😬
