    Chelsea and Everton

i think we are looking at 2 teams that will soon be out of business.

Chelsea have been kept afloat because of Abramovic pumping 30 million every month into them to keep them going.

Another 30 million will need to be invested at the start of May, why will he keep doing this when he is getting the club taken off him?
A lot number of key players are out of contract in the summer and will leave as the club is no longer allowed to negotiate new deals.

Chelsea also have over 40 players out on loan at other clubs that will be returning in the summer and who's wages will need to be paid again.

All of the current bidders for the club are a long way off completion and a lot of them want to leverage the club on tick.

All interested parties are NOT ALLOWED to do thorough due diligence of the accounts, its just a brief look at the figures.

I can genuinely see them going into administration before the end of the season, this would mean a points deduction that will have them almost certainly relegated next season or the one after.

Everton i feel are down already, if this happens, they are completely screwed, none of their so called stars will be staying, they are loaded with debt, they have broken FFP , they have a brand new stadium to pay for, again , these will end up in administration and end up like Portsmouth.
Players like Delle Ali, Alex Iwobi who are on well over 100k a week and cost over 30m each wont be going anywhere, what club will come in for them and pay that sort of money.

As our summer looks exciting, getting ready to mount our challenge for the top 4. Two of the biggest clubs in the country will be clinging to survival.
Its a shame it was ever allowed to get this far especially when you see how our takeover was stalled, but swings and roundabouts, these two also didnt want us to be taken over. so **** them

That is some good points Tanya.

You could well be right, however, with regards to Chelski, the way govt. have gone on about it I suspect he'll be allowed to put the money in and I think he will cos otherwise he'll lose all money from it won't he - although hasn't he also said he won't get a penny from the sale?

    Hmmm.

Everton are in real trouble if they go down. . . oh dear, what a shame

Aye-I suspect Chelsea will get their buyer.

Everton, on the other hand...other than us staying up, nothing would give me more pleasure than the mackems staying in League 1 and the scouse makems going down.

I don't know. I thought Everton would survive for a long time, but they are genuinely a terrible team and I don't think Frank's got what it takes to keep them up.

I hope Chelsea get a Mike Ashley-type owner. It's their turn now.

I have my doubts about Everton too. I look at their fixtures and only Watford away looks winnable based on how sh!te they have been

Frank Lampost hasn't got what it takes for a relegation fight. Both he and Everton have no experience of this and certainly no bottle for it. This is the main advantage Burnley has. They have had it all before and know what the fight is all about.

I really hope I'm right over this.

As for Chelski, they deserve all they get. Been mollycoddled for years and had it on a plate. Well now the plate is empty and the asking price for them is stupidly based on their past artificially success. They cannot be worth 10 times almost what was paid for our club.

yeah Frank Lampoon must have rocks in his head to think he could get a tune out of that collection of divas.

Nadine Dorres the cultural media and sports secretary of the government has spoken today saying Chelski are on borrowed time, will be ****ed in a matter of weeks.

The government took over the club to look like billy big balls and didnt realise the huge financial input it needs to keep it breaking even, its said to be at least 30 million quid every month to keep it running.

Looks like the FFP really didnt apply to the big 6, i always thought owners were now only allowed to put 20 million a season into the clubs to keep it running.

Abramovic was putting over 360 million of his own cash into the club every year to keep them afloat.

Now Boris and his Tory chums are desperate to wash their hands of it.

I would laugh if they went into administration like

Can’t understand how Chelsea can write off the the £1.5B loan - surely this, or at least the proportion of it calculated back to the introduction of FFP either forms part of an inflated purchase price or becomes a liability to be addressed as part of the business plan for the new owners.

Similarly, Everton appear to have breached FFP in recent seasons and used COVID as an excuse but seemingly nothing done by the league.

    What a total mess!
