    Nope, Rooney will use it as a chance to give game time and assess players for next season, a meaningless match which we ought to draw but suspect we will lose 0-2.

    Obviously prefer us to win but doubt we will and events off the pitch are far more important for the foreseeable.
    3-1 Blackpool but so what? Let’s just get things done and start afresh.

    Well my negative prediction worked again, though in truth we were a little fortunate, still fortune favours the brave.

    A rare away win and only the third all season, shame really as only 3 or 4 more and we'd have survived, then again 3 or 4 wins that we should have won at home but lost would have helped, it was that close
