oh dear....but looking at a chelsea forum...seems more that they weren't up for it, not so much that Everton beat them...from the comments, they have nothing to play for - the players couldn't be arsed - "a shockingly terrible performance" etc etc .
Perhaps playing the big teams at this stage of the season - isn't as tough a task as it would be when they were clamouring for points - United were awful, as were Lester, and today the same - giving them 7 points....seems that you'll get a harder time of it from the lower end teams with something to prove.... .

Exactly what I though VC, however, fair dinkum to Everton, they were the better side and they certainly wanted it more than Chelsea.

But that shouldn’t be the case, should it ? After all Chelsea are not yet guaranteed a place in next seasons Champions League which brings in a huge amount of revenue. With the way the club is being run right now, you would have thought they would have made qualification a priority. It’s as though they don’t care.

What you have is players at top clubs on big money that can't be bothered to turn up. Everton now taken 6 points from Manure and Chelski, really its a joke. Here is a question:- Where would we have finished up if our boys had been playing the same way as they have for the last say 6 games for the most of the season?? Player power it seem is everything.

have long said - Dave....it's a business, players/products don't get payed silly mone Just to play football...there's another game going on.
