Frog, according to the BBC News web site, the airport was cleared with some claiming mass hysteria happening after reports of a suspicious package being found.
The police have closed the airport while the package is investigated.

O/T Evacuation at East Mids Airport
Does anyone have any info on this? I've searched the web but I've found litlle on it. Normally I wouldn't care but my dad and step mum are flighing out from their to visit us.

I've managed to speak with them. They're outside the airport now and said that bomb disposal had just left about 20 minutes ago.

Probably the same package that closed the M1 for 5 hours yesterday. Amazon really need to start to label them a bit better
